also I have decided that I am gonna get eight boyfriends before christmas. maybe not like boyfriends boyfriends but youknowhatimean. and I have decided that if a boy does not like no age, then he cannot be my boyfriend. because I think that I would date like 99.9% of all boys that like no age anyways, so this is a good indicator of compatibility. or HEALTH. I suppose that if they liked HEALTH and maybe weren’t familiar with no age, it’d be ok. but if, after I introduced said boy to no age, he decided he didn’t like them, then he would not be my boyfriend. I think that is pretty straight-forward.

love opening ceremony, not that i’d ever be able to afford any of their shit. but still.
this is maybe my favorite worldly possession.
it’s really gorgeous, and i got it at the subpop booth at pitchfork music festival 2010, which was just a really good time with my friends and my dad.

No Age last night was absolutely amazing, and my body is in total disarray.
my knees are purple, but it’s not nearly as bad as after wavves (probably because then i was just wearing shorts and not ridiculously tight black jeans).
so i got to the venue way early because i was meeting friends there and i am always kind of nervous about that sort of thing and i walk up out of the t station and run straight into this guy and i’m like, “sorrrry” and he’s like “no worries” and i look up and if it isn’t dean spunt! my thoughts were, in this order, “shitttt i ran into someone”, “this man is really goodlooking”, “DEAN”
and so he turns around to walk to away and i’m like “DEAN” and he’s like, “yeahhh?” and i tell him i’m on my way to see him and then we chat and he asks where i’m from originally and we talk about iowa and how i saw them there and they played a basement show but i didn’t go and also i was sixteen at that time and he said that it’s probably a good thing i didn’t go then and we laughed and he asked my name and told me that he hopes i have a good time and all that and i guess we talked about his new record and things like that for about ten minutes. i’m afraid i wasn’t very witty or anything.
he makes me nervous
anyway. they were amazing, and i brought my friends jordan and sam and they both had a really good time which makes me happy, because i had promised them that no age is one of the best live bands i’d ever seen.
also they did a cover of ‘six pack’ as part of their encore and it was the most fun had by anyone ever probably, and everyone in the audience knew the words and it was a jovial moshpit. even though i am super banged up today.
i just have so much respect and admiration for no age
i love them forever.

for all three the quality is sketchy since they were recorded live (but i mean, come on, it’s no age) but the awesomeness is evident.
